Info Session #1 – Friday, September 19th, 2025, from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm in UPS 142 (Lab Tour at the end)

Info Session #2 – Monday, September 22nd, 2025, from 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm in PHL 219 (Lab Tour at the end)

RPL Technicians enable Rapid Prototyping for members across the Cornell campus. As an RPL technician, you’ll learn how to use all of our 3D printers and laser cutters, and get the opportunity to help students, researchers, and project teams convert their dreams and designs into functional prototypes.

​WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

• Complete 5-6 weeks of paid training

• Inspect and pre-process design files for 3D printing and start prints using a variety of printing technologies

• Hold open hours for 3 to 5 hours per week, where users can ask questions about their designs and our technologies

• Read and respond to queries by email

• Get paid to play with 3D printers and laser cutters – the coolest job on campus!
