About Us
Experienced and Helpful
Our technicians have extensive experience in 3D printing technologies and can provide advice and support for your projects. Whether it’s as simple as deciding which printer to use, or as complex as effective geometries and tolerancing we’re here to help!
Student-Run
The Cornell RPL is operated by undergraduate engineering students and maintained by the Cornell University MAE Department.
Free or Reduced Rates
We are happy to announce that the Cornell RPL is free to use for all Cornell student engineering project teams and MAE classes. We also offer a reduced rate for Cornell labs compared to other commercially available 3D printing services.
CNF Partnership

The Cornell Nanoscale Science and Technology Facility (CNF) and the Cornell Rapid Prototyping Lab have partnered to provide and promote access to additional multiscale 3D printing resources to engage, support, and advance hetero-integration, life science, and nano/microfabrication research at Cornell.
We provide 3D print capabilities with print dimensions ranging from mm to nm that will foster and enhance interdisciplinary research and cross-collaboration that will inspire innovation and discovery and drive solutions to scientific challenges.
